Do I need to know how to code?
No. Claude handles the code. ShipLock handles the hosting. You just describe what you want to Claude, copy the result, and drop it on ShipLock. No command line, no git, no config.
Does my app need to do anything special to use the data store?
ShipLock injects window.SL into every app with your app ID and API details. A Claude-built app can use window.SL.api to read and write data. You can ask Claude to write apps that use this API — or deploy as-is and add data features later.
Who can see my app?
You choose: private (only you), link-only (anyone with the URL), group (invited members only), or public (open to all). You can change the policy any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I update the app in Claude?
Generate the new HTML in Claude, copy it, and re-deploy to ShipLock. The URL stays the same. ShipLock keeps version history so you can roll back if needed.
Is it really free?
